Brown Electronics offers free estimates on any electronics,
no strings attached. All you pay is
shipping and insurance. Use our online form to get a preliminary estimate before shipping off your unit to us.
2. FREE ESTIMATE
Once we receive your device, we will investigate the item
and prepare an estimate. Once the estimate
is completed (usually within 24 hours), you will be contacted with a repair
quote. Please use your common sense, a $30 piece of equipment is most likely not worth the trouble of shipping, and is definitely not worth repairing. (Buy a new one!)
3. TO FIX OR NOT TO
FIX! YOU DECIDE!
If you decide not to have the unit repaired, all you are
responsible for is the return shipping.
If payment has not been received in 30 days, or return shipping costs paid, the item will be salvaged.
If you do decide to have the unit repaired, we will not begin repairs until payment is received.
REPAIR FEES:
Typical repair fees range from 45.00 to 150.00 dollars. It varies according to the wattage, number of
channels, and the actual damage that must be repaired. Note: The return shipping charges are included in the repair fees.
Here is a general idea based on wattage(RMS):
1-300 Watts - 45.00-60.00
400-600 Watts - 60.00-80.00
600-1000 Watts - 80.00-100.00
1000-up
Watts - 100.00-150.00
REPAIR SERVICE:
Once your item arrives, it will be inspected and an estimate
will be sent to you (usually within 24 hours). If you authorize the repair, the unit will be
repaired and reconditioned. All units
are bench tested, functionally tested, and loaded to capacity.
Typical turn around time will be 3-5 days, not including the
shipping. You will be notified when
repair is completed, and sent a tracking number for the shipment.

PAYMENT:
If you authorize the repair, you will be sent a payment
invoice online. This will step you
through a simple checkout process. We
accept all major credit cards through Paypal, money orders, and personal checks.
WARRANTY:
Brown Electronics offers a full 30 day warranty on all
repairs. The amplifier will have a
service label on the unit with the date of repair. This date will serve as the beginning of the
warranty period. If you do experience
any problems, the only cost you are responsible for is the shipping.
